1. Machine Description

The 16450 Sachet Packer was designed and manufactured by Bector Automation RML Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. For Strides Pharma Science Limited

The p780-Top Load Sachet Cartoner consists of “in-feed conveyor” to receive the sachets. The in-feed conveyor is designed to retain the sachets in long edge leading orientation as it released, the conveyor comprises vision tunnel for camera inspection of sachets passing through. This conveyor will be controlled by the sachet cartoner control system and will automatically start when the sachet cartoner has transitioned to a running state.

The folded carton from the Magazine unit are erected by pneumatic based Plücker assembly , flex pickers (three HORNET 565 robots) picks sachets as per recipe from conveyor & holds & place the picked sachets each into respective cartons. The sachet(s) that have been not picked due to improper pitch gets rejected to overflow drawer via conveyor.

The carton is further conveyed to a MG booklet pick & place station, where MG booklet, after bar code scan, is fed into one quadrant of the carton. After the MG insertion, remaining flaps of carton are closed sequentially in the flap folding station. Rejection station rejects carton which has wrong sachet count or missing MG booklet, or carton not closed properly off the main drive to a rejection conveyor by side shift. And the flapped cartons are transfer through outfeed Conveyor.
